Ep 8 - All about voiceover and the future of AI voice with Sheryl Hartman
Sheryl grew up in El Monte, California, and discovered in elementary school that she loved to talk and got sent to the principal’s office a lot. Her teachers just did not know she was born to be a voice actor. She made up her own radio show and did commercials and recorded them on her tape recorder (yes, she lived in the pre-digital world).
In High School she was in all the choirs and then got her degree in music from Chapman University. She got interested in voice over after producing a staged reading in Los Angeles and then a friend recommended her for narrating a short story on a podcast. And she found a great coach in LA, but then ended up moving to Las Vegas, and studied at the Voice Actors Studio there.
She opened her Voice Over business in February 2020 and is grateful to have found her way to BNI.
